Where do I get scholarships or grants for financial need?
I am in high school and want to strart collecting money now. My mom is a single parent and only makes ,000 a year. Do you know any good schloarships to apply for?

go to fastweb.com for scholarships and definitely fill out the fafsa. the fact that your mom only makes 15,000 will get you a lot of money.
You can appy for the Cal Grants that are offered but you have to graduate from high school to qualify. The site is fafsa.gov. Try other sites to see what you can start getting now.
if you are in the united states then i suggest going to collegeboard.com. click on for students. and then scholarship search. there are also some nice large books out there listing various scholarships and other books about how people have succesfully won scholarships.
