There are no grants outside of the federal and state ones (some schools have their own). The myth floating around that there are grants for education all over is just that; a myth. Financial aid includes grants, loans, work-study and scholarships. The greatest source of scholarship money in America actually comes from the school that you will be attending. So that is the place where you should look, everything else comes from the government and the school, and you will not find out about that until around April when award letters are sent out.
