Im on academic suspension from my current college and therefore lost my financial aid AND my student loans until I complete 2 classes out of pocket. My credit is not bad but not great and I don’t have a steady job. If I enroll in another college, online or local, is it possible to receive aid for those courses? Student Loan or Financial Aid?? PLEASE, ANY HELP AT ALL????

I was reading online that if you fail more than 25% of your classes you will be disqualified from federal and institutional aid. Is that the same as a student loan???

I’m tired of working my butt off paying for college, and i’m still going to get out of here with a student loan dept, where as these people from other countries can hardly speak english and yet they have scholarships and government financial aid to go to a public state university. I am a student at a junior college, and I have just received a letter stating I am on financial aid suspension for exceeding 96 total hours at the school. I have a 3.5 GPA and have always been a full time student. I received the letter on Dec 30 and spring classes start Jan 7. I am transferring to the University of South Alabama in the fall, but I cannot go to school this semester without my student loan. What should I do?
My friends account has been put on hold by a collection agency, but she has her child support money going in there. She just got her rewards from her financial aid and a small student loan. That is all she has. Can they garnish all of it?
