I really want to go to northeastern, and they offered me a few scholarships, grants, and loans and such, but it’s still not enough for me to be able to afford the school. Is there anything i could do to get more, or is that done? could i call up the financial aid office or something and they’d help me, or is that not gonna work?
I’m in my late 20’s and contemplating medical school. How available are scholarships, grants, and other programs for medical students?
I’m in the process of going back to graduate school to get my master’s degree, but have found an out of state program I want to apply for. Looking for good resources to find info on applying for scholarships, grants, loans, etc. to help with out of state tuition costs. Serious answers only please!! Thanks in advance for the help!
I live in iowa, married with 2 kids under 2, catholic, Director of Religious Education as well as a Community Support Worker at a mental health center. My EFC is 8580 which means that my parents to pay 8,580 of my finances and my university won’t give me any financial aid. Is there any kind of outside scholarships grants or loans outside of the college that that I can take out to pay for it all because if I can’t my parents are going to be broke or i’ll just go to community college.
I basically got a "full-ride" with the exeption of room and board/medical insurance/ books and supplies. Is this because scholarships/grants don’t cover these expenses. If i get outside scholarships to pay for these expenses will my other awards be reduced- and basically end up being the same thing? Any useful info is appreciated, thanks!
Okay, I am a high school student in Florida, and I plan to get a doctorate in forensic medicine, as a forensic anthropologist. I would like to go to the University of Tennessee, but for out of state students it is more expensive. What I would like is some scholarships/grants that can be used at a multitude of colleges. I already know of Bright Futures, so could anyone help me out?
My boyfriend just started college and since he was born in Mexico, unfortunately doesn’t qualify for financial aid. He was approved to have his tuition reduced to the per unit fee but it makes it hard to take multiple classes in one semester. If you know about ANY type of aid: scholarships, grants, etc, please let me know. By the way, he’s attending Goldenwest College.
Thank you.
I am a little confused as to how financial aid works at colleges. I know you fill out FASFA and CSS/PROFILE. However, if a college costs ,000 and you cannot afford that, will you qualify for aid? Is that when need based scholarships, grants, and loans are used? Thanks.
I would appreciate if you would know of any scholarships, grants, or free programs that serve for certain people.
