I graduated from a private high school, and I requested my transcript so I can apply for college financial aid (the FAFSA, scholarships, etc). And I just realized that the school doesn’t provide my class rank. How do I complete financial aid applications without an official class rank, and will this lower my chances of getting financial aid? Thanks.
In other words, do the scholarships allow you to apply as a freshman but not use it until college? I would hate to wait til last minute.

I recently got accepted into graduate school, which is in another state. I filled out the FAFSA, but it seems to take quite a while to lean what award I got. I’ve been using scholarship data bases and books about scholarships to try to find some to apply for but I’m having a real hard time. It seems there aren’t that many for graduate students and usually when I find some, they don’t apply for me. I’m going into Education/Teaching and was wondering if anyone knows any good resources on this?
The countries I’m primarily interested in are China, Japan, the Korea’s, Norway, Spain, Italy, Mexico, and most other european countries. I’m looking for a scholarship that is 2011-2012 and that is too selective (meaning only gives scholarships to people who go to certain schools, live in certain areas, or whatever else). All information regarding the subject I am asking about will be greatly appreciated.
I don’t want to go the Student Loan route. I’m also looking online for private grants and scholarships. I live in Louisiana and plan to attend school there as well. My daughter wants more than anything to attend a private arts high school. She is applying for financial aide, but it won’t cover everything and I can’t afford anything. She is so talented and really belongs at this school. Are there any outside scholarships funds available for situations like this?
I just applyed to the 2 year Nursing Program at Phoenix College. I have not got accepted yet (there is about a 2 year waiting list) so……………how do I know when to apply for scholarships and grants for when I’m in the Nursing Program??
Hi, I’m a junior in high school and am constantly thinking about college. I really want to end up in New York somehow, but I live in Florida right now. If I did get into a school there, I would have to get financial aid and scholarships because my parents just can’t afford that much.
