Could you ask financial aid to take money from next semester, including loans, grants, to pay for something for this semester. I know they would have to review your file but is this possible did anyone ever try?
I need some grant money to go to Arizona State University in the fall. I failed last semester and I need grant money to make up the classes I failed. Do you know of any grants I could apply for that have nothing to do with GPA?
I have a pell grant for the spring semester that will post in January. Would I be able to use money for spring or even fall for classes that I would like to take in the summer?
My parents make ALOT of money and we missed the deadline to qualify for the finacial aid. If i moved out on my own for 12 months, become completely dependent, how much aid will I ( a male) recieve in the state of Texas?
Someone told me I may qualify to get grant money to replace my old junker with a hybrid. I can’t find anything about this. Anyone heard of this?
I’m interested in pursuing a Phd online, however, the problem is no money to do it. Does anyone know of any scholarships or grants that I can apply for that will pay for online programs?
Besides tuition and books, what else can i spend my financial aid on? I heard i can spend it on transportation and rent/room and board. I would be taking the bus and i live on my own.
Another question i have is, with the remaining financial aid how do i prove that i am paying it towards whats legally allowed instead of lets say a stereo? And what if i spend the remaining financial aid on everything that is allowed and still have left over money, do i have to send it back or what do i do with it?
His infomercials look to good to be true. Has anyone had any sucesss with the grant money portion ?
I’ve applied to Miami University, Michigan, Notre Dame, and California. I’ve received a great financial aid package from Miami, but Michigan only offered me a federal subsidized loan(00 a year) and being an out of state student, it’s rather expensive. I have yet to hear whether I was admitted to ND and Cal, but should I go ahead and call Michigan to see if they are willing to give me a comparable aid package?
I guess I should rephrase; sorry about that. All of the money I’m being given from Miami is strictly scholarships. Therefore, I was told at one point that once I receive all of the financial info, and I don’t get the best deal from my 1st choice, then I can say what other schools are offering me. I did read an article about a girl who applied to Cal and Harvard and she really wanted to go to Harvard. However, Cal gave her the better deal financially speaking and Harvard matched that amount.
