I have no idea what I’m doing, I’m trying to get into a university. I recently withdrew from a local technical program due to the lack of competence of one of the instructors. When I first started at the Technical School I had little knowledge about financial aid and student loans, this time I want to be fully prepared. Can someone explain to me how financial aid and student loans work? I have filled out a fafsa, and have to change my school code for the new school I’ll be attending. Also, what else should I be doing to get more money for my education?
I have received an F in one of my 4 classes in the fall semester and wonder if this affects my grant money…both Cal grant B and Pell grant. Does it affect me the very next grant dispursment? Or would they penalize me for it the next school year?

How do I transfer my money on my second semester from my current university to the one I will be going to in January?
I currently have a "C" grade in my media planning class. I still have to do a project that I think I won’t be able to get a good grade on, so my grade could drop to a D. I have A’s in all of my other classes and I want to withdraw from the media planning class but since I have financial aid I don’t want to lose that money. Can I still drop out of the class and still receive financial aid? I am enrolled full-time (15 credits) Any help will be appreciated thanks.
I recently applied for financial aid, and they told me that i am qualified for 2 grants. I got a e-mail from financial aid, it told me how much im going to be getting. but my question is how do i pay for my classes.. does it go to my school first and they pick pay and send me the rest of the money ,or does it come to me by check and i pay for it?

i still owe around 15,000 for college (i graduated in ‘06). anyways, i pay 150 bucks a month currently. im getting ready to take care of my federal tax return and my question refers to amount of money made and if i can claim college loans on my returen. i made 77,000 gross income in 2009. i think i may be over the limit to get the college loans kickback. what is the cutoff? please explain. thanks much and God bless.
where can i find college grants? i’m not looking for loans, but keep being told there is all this money out there for students, but i don’t know where to find it.

A planetarium at a local high school is closed because there is no money allocated by the school board to keep it running. It is a tremendous waste of a valuable educational tool. School children and the community are missing out.
I’ve been able to pay my first two years of college through savings but I am running short of money and may need to take out a loan in 5 or 6 months. What are the best options with low interest? Federal loans? I know nothing in the loans/college paying department. Any help or advice is appreciated with 10 points thanks!
