Need help with financial assistance. My fiance and I have been in a major rut all year. We want to get a place (rent to start with) and get married but are not financially able. Due to recent medical problems and the state wide burn bans, he has been unable to work (he is an independent welder). We have several loans taken out right now that were supposed to help but his illness has gotten worse and put us in the hole that much more. I work two jobs just to be able to pay the loans and can barely afford that. He can not afford to pay rent and utilities and buy groceries, so it is either have a place to live with air conditioning or have food. He lives 3 hours away from me right now and I live with my mother. If we could get some kind of help just until he is well enough to work again we would be fine, we just need help until then. Any information is appreciated (and i don’t want to get married and get pregnant just to go on welfare either – i enjoy being able earn my paycheck)
I really want to go to northeastern, and they offered me a few scholarships, grants, and loans and such, but it’s still not enough for me to be able to afford the school. Is there anything i could do to get more, or is that done? could i call up the financial aid office or something and they’d help me, or is that not gonna work?
where can i find college grants? i’m not looking for loans, but keep being told there is all this money out there for students, but i don’t know where to find it.

loans. You either have rich parents , you pay your way through, or you don’t go. The schools will not be able to survive off just the rich parents and they will respond to market pressure and lower the tuition dramatically and steadily as time goes on. What do you think?
My school will not allow me to take out loans because I no longer qualify for financial aid because it is exhausted. My credit is bad what should I do?

I originally went to a University in NYC. Due to problems at home, I came home for a year. I’m very unhappy with my major and I know that I might not be able to afford taking out loans for housing and tuition. Are there any legit scholarships or grants I can apply for? Also, what about internships or jobs in the Manhattan area that supplies housing? Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Right now I’m looking for ways I can somehow make money while still helping out my community. I’m potentially looking out to work or Big Brother Big Sister and other similiar programs. I know some may see this as defeating the point. But I’m a full time student, going to school off of loans alone, and I’m not financially gifted so getting money while doing something positive would be great.
I am 23 years old and I am wanting to go to college to become an rn but dont have a lot of money or any family members that have any money to help. Does anyone know of any good grants that I could apply for or something where I will not have to pay it back in the future…I would like to stay away from loans if possible but will use them if cannot find anything else…Any info you guys have would be VERY helpful.
