I am begining an online associates degree in the next 2 weeks at an accredited University (PHOENIX). I so far am qualified for financial aid to cover my classes and text books. Can I also get aid for living expenses like any other college student living off campus?
I’m looking to find some grants for college. For things such as some living expenses, books, remaining tuition balance, etc. Anything will help.
my mom makes ,000 a year and i made about ,000 last year. she is a single mom and my fafsa said i was eligible for the pell grant. However i am going to a community college and i have a full scholorship. Do i still get money from my pell grants for living expenses? How much?
I am going to a small private couture school abroad and US financial aid does not work with that school. My tuition is being paid for by the school but I still need financial aid to afford the numerous supplies that I am going to need as well as daily living expenses. Are there any student loans for people in my position?
A friend recently told me of a person he knows that receives ,000 per semester from the federal government in student loans. I am thinking about going to school full time, but need extra income. Would financial aid be able to sufficiently cover my living expenses and school as well? I have an apartment and all of the costs associated with that.
My husband just got laid off from his job, and we were already living from paycheck to paycheck and not making it. Now my husband has been accepted into the local radiology tech program here and we have questions about student loans and grants.
Is there some sort of financial assistance you can get that covers just basic living expenses as well as tuition, book costs, etc.? Does anybody know of any sites besides FAFSA that offers grants? Any information anyone might have would be of great help! Thanks guys

I am new student at a technical college, I currently have some health problems that were unexpected, and I am really having a tough time financially, although despite these setbacks I am maintaining good grades. I have some aid already, grants have paid for my tuition and books, and I have a small Stafford loan approved for this school year. Which would have been enough, had I not become ill in August and am unable to work and go to school full-time. Any suggestions on grants, scholarships, etc. would be very helpful and greatly appreciated. Also I might add that I have no spouse or family to help me and am responsible for all of my bills and living expenses. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I would not be asking for this type of information, but I have so many medical appointments, hospital and doctor co-pays, and am still undergoing diagnostic testing, so I have no idea what the future holds, have to be prepared in case I have to remain umemployed for an extended time
