My husband (32) has decided to go to school to get his bachelors. He’s starting at the beginning and we have a two year old and a baby coming. Any suggestions on how to get a grant. Problem is that last years tax return shows too good to get one the traditional way, but his year has been really bad for us. (that’s why he’s decided to change directions). We really need that financial help to get him through, but we can’t seem to find the way. Any suggestions?
My boyfriend and I have become pregnant, and would like to marry, but have been warned if we combine our incomes we may not be eligible for potential financial help if we need it. We don’t know what kind of "help" is available, or if a combined income of less than ,000 p/yr would exclude us from any. We both also plan on continuing college. Any information is appreciated. Are there any scholarships or grants for Armenians? I’m not Latino, African American, Asian and haven’t really seen any financial help aimed specifically towards us and we are indeed a minority. I was attending college fall of 04. I started having alot of problems with my son and his mom at daycare. I stopped going and was not smart enough to withdrawl so i got all F’s. I’ts been 4 years now and i’m totally focused(have my situation under control now)and i want to go back to school. There is really no way i can go back without the financial aid/student loan. Im 21 I live by myself. I don’t receive any money or help from my parents. But they still consider me a dependent and because of this I can’t get any financial help for college. My parents make too much money. I don’t understand this. Is there anything I can do? Please help!
Why should my parents be expected to pay for my college. I am a single working adult living on my own supporting myself 100%.

I have a score of 1500 in GRE test. I wish to join an Ivy League college.
I am not sure of admission to an Ivy League college with financial aid. However, I sense that the score and other credentials may get me the admission.
Is this belief correct ?
Or it does not matter whether you ask for financial help or not ; the admission to college is unrelated.
