Im filling out the FAFSA and it asked if I have ever received federal student aid. I had a direct loan so would that be a yes?

I currently have a "C" grade in my media planning class. I still have to do a project that I think I won’t be able to get a good grade on, so my grade could drop to a D. I have A’s in all of my other classes and I want to withdraw from the media planning class but since I have financial aid I don’t want to lose that money. Can I still drop out of the class and still receive financial aid? I am enrolled full-time (15 credits) Any help will be appreciated thanks.

loans. You either have rich parents , you pay your way through, or you don’t go. The schools will not be able to survive off just the rich parents and they will respond to market pressure and lower the tuition dramatically and steadily as time goes on. What do you think?

Im starting city college in the fall and I don’t need student financial aid until I transfer to a four year school (two years after I start city college).
Is is okay to file a FAFSA the year I need it, or do I have to file it when I start city college (even though I don’t need it for CC)??

I was attending college fall of 04. I started having alot of problems with my son and his mom at daycare. I stopped going and was not smart enough to withdrawl so i got all F’s. I’ts been 4 years now and i’m totally focused(have my situation under control now)and i want to go back to school. There is really no way i can go back without the financial aid/student loan. If i were to decide to live on my own and were accepted into a University of California, as an "indepentant" student, would i qualify for financial aid?
