Up until this year, I had signed up for financial aid using my mother’s income which is very low. I’ve gotten a full ride every year and had extra money left over. This year I was able to apply as an independent student, and barely got enough financial aid to cover my tuition. What gives? I called financial aid and they said that was correct. How is this possible when there was more money made between my mom and I in previous years than what I made alone last year? It doesn’t make any sense to me. Now I have to take out hella student loans.
I am thinking about applying for financial aid for college. I go to community college right now and for me its about .10 per credit for students who are instate. Do you recommend Applying for it or will it just put me in debt for the rest of my life by paying back loans.
So when I filed my FAFSA my EFC was 0. My mother makes 25,000-30,000 a year and I qualified for the full Pell Grant and the full supplemental grant. I start college at my local community in the fall. I start working in a week at Mcdonalds. Will my federal aid go down? What can I do to avoid that? Any other information you can give me?
I just can’t quite remember. So, do you fill out one FAFSA form for state and another for federal?
For my Signed copy of Student/Spouse 2008 Federal Tax Return it says, it has been waived should I do something about it? The other requirements are marked as satisfied. I don’t have any financial holds. Does this mean that I can apply my financial aid to my school?
okay, you are right about the waiver part, but you still didn’t completely answer my question. Will I be able to apply my financial aid to my school?
Thanks in advance.
Because they did not register for a certain program after their 18th birthday and knew that men didn’t have to sign up for this registration, how would women feel?
I want to know could an international student apply for financial aids? If yes, generally what kind of forms do I need to fill out? If no, what are the other ways that will help me to pay off my tuition? (except loans and parental payments)
thank you.
Just wondering how much in student loans I will have to take out.
