This is my last year of college and my financial aid advisor just told me that I have no more money for school? Can this happen? and if so what do I need to do?

Yes it can. Every scholarship is different and some only last a semester while others last till the end. They are all different. Start applying for other scholarships online. Use scholarship search engines like supercollege.com. Apply for the ones that require some work like an essay or a resume. Too many people apply for the ones that are easy and your chances are so slim that it isn’t worth your time. You also might need to take a break from school to give you time to work to earn enough money. Good luck!
Sadly, yes. You’ll have to find a job to pay for it
Yes, you only have a limited amount of money that you can borrow. You may have to go to a private loan or get a job that can pay for it.
yes, it happens quite often
financial aid isn’t a bottomless lake of money that keeps refilling itself. there is a limit to how much money you can get
take out a student loan, ask your parents for the money, get a job, try to get a scholarship
What country are you in?
What program provides the aid?
Why is somebody paying for your college?
Is it me with my taxes?
Yes, you might need a well-paid job to cover your tuition fees, etc.
Yes in freaking can. So unfair, right? Well a job would help, applying for any loans, join the military if worse comes to worse LOL, looking at any possible scholarships…
Yeah, I’m a freshman, and there isn’t even enough financial aid available for my first year. So my parents changed their minds about not helping. But anyway.
Good luck, don’t turn to crime! XD
I’ve never heard of this. You should contact the lender.
Actually you didn’t mention what kind of financial aid. If its grants or scholarships then yes it can run out, but I think loans can still be obtained.
you bet it can with rising semester charges and hikes in tuition and last minute book publishing you darn tooting college costs can
definitely outpace your financial aid and you might get extention grants or last minute loans on your car or maybe if your a young gollege girl
there is certain female indian or scotch,or alumni only for female money endowments or alumini moneys from prior classmen available for a bridge grant or a stipend that could bridge your needs
there are all kinds of foundations moneys for women or men that need financial aide or a bridgeing loan or even grants that are available maybe not right then and there but you could use your credit card to pay for the future costs and then when these grants or endowments or alumini funds come in you could pay off those funding sources
or maybe get a second job for a couple hours after school to cover the need. There is always a way to find money there is always a way to find money to fund a final few months of the college year.
Check with the college funding aide office and local organizations from the alumni they always have resoureces for those in need maybe even city has some funding sources for the locals going to college for
a short bridge loan. but try appliing for the student aide alumni money or even grants and government pel grants and loans cause private money takes allot of time and forms like government grants and loans do
the public money and the grants could lead to endowment sources and maybe public sources specially if the amount is under 5000
but more than 500 if you can get a grant of someone in the family
could help you for the short time.
cheers try all sources before you go to private moneys.
cheers
