I currently go to a community college. I am majoring in nursing but I have not started any nursing courses yet. I am almost done my prerequisites. I take community classes at night and I would like to take a CNA course (which is about 4-6 weeks)during the day, but it is not in the same school. Can financial aid pay for my community classes (which they are currently) and my CNA course?
Also if anyone has any tips for me with CNA courses.
I am a single mom trying to work and go to college an take care of my two kids. I need some help trying to pay for my education. I don’t want to quit because this is something that I really want to do.
I was told the money from the pell grant you get for summer sessions is different from the amounts you receive for fall and spring. Anyone know what is the max summer award?
I’m a 38 year old stay home mom. I would like to go to school, but and would like to get financial aid. Do you think I have a chance to get a pell grant? We’re a family of 3 and I would be the only one up to now to go to school (college), we have an income of 35,000 anually.
I completed my FAFSA back in January and I need to turn in part 1 of my (SAR) for a scholarship.
Where can I find the SAR?
I completed my FAFSA application online, would I find my SAR on the official FAFSA website?
My husband is an active duty soldier with the U.S. Army and we have several problems. I want to leave him, I can’t handle the stress of not being who he wants me to be anymore. I am broke, I don’t work and I know he won’t give me any money to get me and my things back home, which is 1500 miles away. I’m just wondering if there are any programs that offer assistance in these circumstances that would be available immediately?
I’ve been looking around for information about these things, but I’m not really sure what I want to do about it.
Do you have a better chance of getting into a good college for businees (as I am planning to do) if you have Spanish Honor Society on your list. Some other things I am planning to receive and put on my application are National Honor Society, Key Club (volunteer work), Student Council, and Eagle Scout.
Sorry Spanish Honor Society is basically that in 7 semesters (Freshman through half of Senior year) you got at least 4 A’s and 3 B’s.
My husband and I bought a house that is a little over 100 years old about a year and a half ago. We are hoping to fininsh the remodeling, renovation, and addition here within the year. We were told that there were programs out there to receive grants for these projects. Can you assist with some possible sites to look at. Maybe even ones where the military are concerned as he is active.
It’s my first time getting financial aid at a community college in California. I was wondering how many times do financial aid checks get disbursed a semester?
