I live with my mother in law with my fiance and a baby. But she makes about ,000 a year and claiming us on her taxes. Would that unqualify me for financial aid? I heard that you have to be claiming yourself, or the financial aid goes based off of the person’s income that is claiming me.
I am looking to attend Florida A&M School of Law
I’m only a junior (11th grade) in high school.
I’m already signing up for scholarships, and I want more scholarships to prepare for my doctoral degree for nursing as well as majoring business too, and also financial aid.
What are good scholarships to get online? That are not scammers.
My mother-in-law has been hospitalized twice in 9 months. She lives alone and cannot work. My husband and I would like to get a house and have her live with us and our daughter so that we can keep an eye on her health, however, are not sure if we can afford to support another person. Are their any sources of information we can study up on? Is there any possibility of financial assistance for people in our situatin?
I am currently trying to pay off a LARGE bill for school. So large that I am not in school because I need to pay it off. I was wondering could I apply for any scholarships that would help me pay it off? Is it even possible. Please no FastWeb suggestions. Thank you.
My son is a first year student at Vincennes University. There was a delay from the school for financial aid until I sent in a transcript for my 2006 taxes. However they are sending me another form to fill out to send them for more information. He has already been okayed for the Pell Grant and is staying on campus in his room and going to classes without the necessary books that he needs for his classes. They say they are still waiting on minor details like another form that I need to send in. I am not rich and I am living from paycheck to paycheck. Uncle Sam has my social security number and all other vital information about me and knows that my family is needy. I will send the form in when they send it to me to fill out, but meanwhile my son is struggling to keep up with the rest of his class, but can’t because he has no books. Can someone please tell me where and how my son can get the books he needs until the Pell Grant monies come in? I am five hours away and can’t do much.

How do I cancel my financial aid and student loan if I want to switch schools and start school at a later day? Also will I still be responsible for any payments?
My EFC is 0. I was wondering if it means that I qualify to get grants and financial aid, does this mean it’s free money for school or is it more like loans where I have to pay back after graduating?
