I would really like to continue my education but I rather not take out a student loan, I keep hearing that there are so many grants and scholarships out there, but I am not having any luck founding them. Can you help? Thanks.

I am going to a small private couture school abroad and US financial aid does not work with that school. My tuition is being paid for by the school but I still need financial aid to afford the numerous supplies that I am going to need as well as daily living expenses. Are there any student loans for people in my position?

I’ve been put on the wait list and I’m writing to them expressing my desire to go to the college, how it’s my first choice, etc. but how should I address the admissions director? Should I use "Dear Ms. Freeman,"…? That seems so… awkward to me. What other words/phrases can I use?

There are supposedly all this free government grant money out there if you know how to get it for all sorts of things, but there is no budget funding for the poor through social services for heating assistance. What’s up with that?
